How to use it
Step 1
Use the name on the card or certificate, like 'forklift operator' or 'first aid and CPR'. Then it matches what an auditor sees.
Step 2
Take the date from the card, the maker or your procedure. Don't guess it.
Step 3
Scan the Expires column. Book the class before the card runs out, not after.
Keep every worker's courses, dates and expiry on one record, with certificates attached. Training works on a phone with no signal, and expiring cards get flagged for you.

Glossary
A training matrix is a grid of people against required training, showing who is qualified, who is due and who is missing a course or certification.
Glossary
Competency verification is a check, by a qualified person, that a worker can do a task correctly and safely, not just that they sat through the training.
